![]() This is not a BSOD, there is no error besides unexpected reboot. For awhile I could sit in oribos or zone into MoTS and expect the reboot within 5-10minutes. The next restart it will be fine for awhile. As in it will do the restart, I’ll relogin and then IMMEDIATELY get the freeze/restart again. It will also sometimes happen back to back. MoTS dungeon, Oribos, and one level of Torghast(super short level with walkways on either side of a dirt road). It’s not entirely random either, it happens more often in certain areas. There is NO error besides error 41(unexpected reboot). Wow and only WoW will freeze frame for a second or less and then restart. World of Warcraft is the ONLY game this occurs on, I can load up Apex, Cod, HoTS, whatever else with no issue.įigured I’d add to this because I’m dealing with the same issue. This started occurring randomly and is extremely aggravating to deal with, more investigation should be done either with the logging provided, or on Blizzard’s end. None of them indicate a hardware failure, but similar to OP, the entire game will freeze frame, and if I’m SUPER lucky I can alt tab before it freezes the entire PC. Heat is perfect, I have several things monitoring my set up entirely (Task manager performance, NZXT, etc). Almost exactly what the OP is talking about, and I have NO issues on this computer. This isn’t accurate or true, this has been consistently happening for myself and other users as well. Each game requests different resources and may not encounter the same problems. This indicates that something in the computer hardware is not working correctly, even if other games are able to run normally. The main thing to keep in mind though is that nothing WoW is requesting should result in a computer restart. It’s difficult to determine what is happening from our side as these situations are outside our scope of support. Somewhere along the way it encounters instability, which leads to the computer hardware shutting itself off. Based on what you described, WoW is asking your computer operating system to do something, and the OS then sends that request to the hardware.
